Admission Requirements New Media Design - Advanced Certificate Candidates can apply to the certificate program or register for courses independently of the certificate. It is recommended that candidates have some basic computing skills. Generally, admission and registration is open to all candidates. All candidates are eligible to apply for the certificate upon successful completion of the required 16 credit hours of coursework. UB undergraduate students wishing to register for certificate courses must have the approval of their department chair to have courses count for undergraduate credit.

If you are a current matriculated student, check with the Student Response Center at http://src.buffalo.edu/financialaid/index.shtml to determine if you are eligible to receive a TAP award for the summer session.

Art 550, ART 551, DMS 537, and DMS 538 require a lab fee of $100 per course
